WHY DO I NEED A WEBSITE MANAGEMENT PLAN?

You should have a Website Management Plan to keep your website and the content on it backed-up, safe, and up-to-date. It will also give you the peace of mind knowing that you have some technical saviness at your disposal. A lot goes into creating a website, and a Website Management Plan is the best way to secure your investment.

CAN I CANCEL MY WEBSITE MANAGEMENT PLAN?

Yes, you can cancel at any time – just email BG Creative. However, please keep in mind that all payments made are final and non-refundable.

CAN I GET MORE THAN FOUR HOURS PER MONTH FOR A WEBSITE MANAGEMENT PLAN?

Yes, we can customize Website Management plans to have more than four hours. If you feel like your website will require more than four hours technical support each month, please email BG Creative.

WHAT KIND OF TECHNICAL SUPPORT DO I GET WITH A REGULAR WEBSITE MANAGEMENT PLAN?

With the regular Website Management Plan (i.e. not plus), BG Creative will:

  • back your website up monthly
  • update your theme and plugins monthly
  • provide one hour of tech support

The tech support with the regular Website Management Plans DO NOT include technical support that requires any sort of coding.

There is a one hour minimum per request per page of a website, which means BG Creative will do basic content management to one page of your website.

WHAT IS BASIC CONTENT MANAGEMENT?

Basic content management includes changing photos, editing, text or adding/removing modules in the page builder that’s used for your website. It DOES NOT include anything modifications that require coding.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR BG CREATIVE TO RESPOND TO REQUESTS IF THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH MY WEBSITE?

BG Creative will respond within 24 hours.

HOW IS A WEBSITE MANAGEMENT PLUS PLAN DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR WEBSITE MANAGEMENT PLAN?

The key differences between the Website Management PLUS Plan and the regular Website Management Plan are that the PLUS Plan:

  • comes with one free hour of technical support per month when comparing the hourly rate.
  • has all plugin and theme updates occur weekly, vs monthly.
  • has the website backed up weekly, vs monthly.
  • maintains correspondence by phone AND email. The regular Website Management Plan is only by email.
  • covers technical solutions that require coding.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY WEBSITE CRASHES AND I DON'T HAVE A WEBSITE MANAGEMENT PLAN?

You will lose all of the content that was on your website:

  • photos
  • videos
  • copy
  • files
  • forms

The website in its entirety will be gone, and if you want it back you will need to pay and have a new website made. And if you want the same exact website, it will be a tall order to re-create.

DO TECH SUPPORT HOURS ROLL OVER MONTH-TO-MONTH?

No, technical support hours do not roll over month-to-month.

WHAT WEBSITE MANAGEMENT PLAN HAS THE MOST VALUE?

The Website Management Plan PLUS has the most dollar value with a $870 savings. However, if you’re looking for the most bang for your buck, and you don’t need a lot of technical support, the annual regular Website Management Plan for $900 is your best bet. You get a little more than two months of website support for free, as well as not having to pay your Website Renewal Fee. 

The peace of mind for an entire year knowing the content on your website is going to be updated and backed up is definitely a bonus.
